About Us

National Human Rights Forum

NHRF works for empowerment through education, skill, and personality development programs, which help ensure a better future for women and the elderly, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

National Human Rights Forum is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2022 in Palakkad District, Kerala. We are committed to protecting and promoting the rights of older persons everywhere, irrespective of their economic and social situation. Our NGO works toward Women Empowerment, Human rights protection, Health, and livelihood activities.

Our Programs

National Personality Development Program

We organized the National Personality Development Program in Kollengode Town. The aim is to develop the personalities of the elderly and engage them in nation-building activities.

National Conference

Along with our team, we have organized a national conference on June 18, 2023, at the West Fort Hotel, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

Tailoring Training Program

Beneficiaries are selected through various methods, including identification of the target families during field visits, inquiries with the local community, and direct requests from potential beneficiaries. Beneficiaries are then shortlisted based on their attitude and approach, education levels, learning capabilities, personal verification, and by collecting data on the beneficiary’s socio-economic conditions. Under this program, we provided skill training to the beneficiaries for 3 months at our training center.

Sewing Machine Distribution

We distributed sewing machines to the women who completed the training conducted by our team. Through this drive we have reached 40 women so far.
